I Wonder if Lynda Carter would play wonder Woman mom in the 2009 action movie. Sadly,

Josh Weldon won't be directing, too bad.

AND THE SOON TO BE WARNERBROS MOVIE:
( We hope it doesn't suck like Elektra )

Warner Brothers has just bought a second Wonder Woman script. Why? The quality seems far less important than the content. The people over at cinemablend.com explain :

Warner Brothers and partner Silver Pictures have picked up a second script – one not written by Whedon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, WB has no plans to actually produce this mysterious second script, written by Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland as a spec script.

Their script takes place in Wonder Woman’s original setting – World War II, which Joel Silver has stated he has no interest in setting his picture (Whedon is aiming for a more contemporary setting) So why pay money to a pair of newbies for a script that will never be made? Sources indicate that Warner Brothers picked up the script to remove it as a potential future lawsuit.

It seems Warner Brothers is taking no chances with the Wonder Woman movie, if this spec script has anything similar in it to Josh Weldon's they could have had a lawsuit on their hands, smart move buying it.

But it gets me thinking...maybe Whedon is having trouble and they are buying this one as a backup. It would be smart of execs to keep the fans guessing as well having a second script puts a little pressure on Whedon.

I actually really like the idea of a Wonder Woman set in back in World War II, sort of film noir with a strong female lead.

It strikes me that having the original time period might lend itself quite well to setting this movie apart from the other comic book movies as of late. I think that if Elektra had been set in the late seventies era in which she was created by Frank Miller the film would have been a much better success.

What does everyone out there think? Would you like to see a WW2 Wonder Woman or will only contemporary do? And does Warner Brothers buying a second script make you wonder about the fate of Wonder Woman?

Fantasy or Nightmare?

A few weeks ago I participated in a fantasy boxing shoot. The director made sure that everyone knew the rules: no punching to the head, no punching below the belt, no headbutting, etc. Of course he had hired models, not athletes, to do the boxing. Most of the models followed the script and made sure everything looked good for the camera. The majority of us understood that we were creating erotic content, not trying to prove our athletic prowess. Inexplicably, one of the women present, Serena, began landing blows to the head and intentionally trying to inflict pain. She pretended all of it was an accident when any of the other models complained about her behavior. Not coincidentally Serena happened to be the least attractive of all the women present. She was balancing such a huge proverbial chip on her shoulder that her upper body always looked kind of hunched over. Each of the other boxers would stand up straight and stick their big breasts out when the camera started rolling. Serena would lower her head like a bull and start breathing heavy. Halfway through the shoot it was my turn to go a round with her. Within one minute she had clocked me in the nose. I stopped the match. Everybody stared at me because it was obvious that I had something to say.

"Serena, you seem to have a lot of unresolved anger." I said calmly.

"No.." she protested. "I'm just trying to make it a good video. I guess you are not tough enough to take it."

"This is fantasy boxing." I informed her. "This is not real. Either something is real or it is not real. There is no such thing as halfway real. I do not live in your world of delusion and it's nearly impossible for me to express my contempt for your stupidity."

Serena was growing red in the face and she began turning away from me.

"Let me introduce you to reality." I continued. "The truth has power so listen up. You are angry because you are overweight and unattractive by conventional standards. You should try to improve yourself instead of bringing your misdirected anger to an erotic video shoot. Maybe you will be able to.."

All of a sudden a fist smashed into the side of my face. I hit the canvas hard and saw stars as I tried to climb back up. Who had hit me?!

"Welcome to reality, bitch." a woman's voice said as a hand grabbed my hair and jerked me to my feet.

I stood to face 5'10 referee Kayla Quinn.

"Nobody but me stops a match in my ring." she snarled. "You keep fighting until the bell rings or until I tell you to stop."

"I don't take orders from anyone!" I screamed at her.

By this point the director was about to have an aneurysm. Kayla and I agreed to finish the shoot and settle our differences after everyone else had gone home for the day. Kayla is one tough bitch. She is not pretending.

TANYA SCORPION GIRL :

Unauthorized Biography Episode

___

Dear newbie SG-1 readers,

This is the biography of Tanya Danielle aka ScorpionGirl aka PowerGirl. Tanya Danielle a simple girl from innocent northern California is locked in titanic and strangely kinky struggle with the forces of evil! And now her story...

I am a native Californian who was born and raised in the northern part of the state. I grew up in a town called Atherton which is about 40 miles south of San Francisco. My parents sent me to a college preparatory all-girls highschool in Palo Alto. It was adequate preparation for any college, but not so useful for the path in life that I was about to take.

At 17 I moved to Southern California to attend the University of California in Los Angeles. In my second year I decided to forgo my UCLA studies for a stripping career, though at the time I did not know it was to become a career. Originally I was "just going to take a quarter off" from school.

I never went back. Maybe someday I will, but at the time my pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in History/ Art History didn't seem all that satisfying. It was interesting, but not at all compelling. I had far too many questions about the world, and about myself. What many people refer to as "debauchery" drew me like a magnet.

While growing up I encountered a lot of very clear-cut definitions of what it is to be a "good" girl or a "bad" girl. I knew it was all nonsense, but I ached to get to the bottom of why so many people chose to believe it. After years of experience and observation I came to the very obvious conclusion that many people are intimidated by women who are comfortable with both their bodies and their sexuality.

It wasn't so long ago in US history that women aspired to nothing more than becoming wives and homemakers, and it was commonly accepted that they did not even have orgasms. The idea of women relishing both their sexuality and their independence is still a novelty to many backward-thinking folks.

It probably won't go away until most ladies behave as equals in all aspects of life. My opinion is that women diminish themselves when they expect to be provided for financially or otherwise by men.

We of the female persuasion have spent decades demanding egalitarian treatment when it suits our purposes, but too many of us fail to bear the fiscal burdens and responsibilities that men are expected to shoulder.

As far as I am concerned I work full-time, pay all of my own bills, and I don't want anyone telling me to keep my clothes on, when I may have an orgasm, and with whom I may have it.
I am very outspoken and have enjoyed the opportunity to air my thoughts on my website. I don't view my site as some type of feminist statement, but rather as a celebration of sexuality.

When I was younger I liked the shock value of working in the adult industry, but now I enjoy it more because I can express myself and view pornographic material for a disproportionate amount of my workday. I have a lot of beautiful women on my site!

In addition to maintaining my website I am a stripper, a nude model, and perform in sex videos. My onscreen trysts are limited to women as I choose to save men for my private life. I've always been an exhibitionist, have not entirely lost my desire to shock people, and have found that I love pleasing an audience when I'm having sex.

I derive a great deal of enjoyment from my work. Hopefully I have succeeded in providing some visual stimulation for all comers here. Thanks so much for stopping by. I really hope you find your stay to be........ gratifying!!!

Power Girl aka Goddess Heather

Real Name: Kara "Karen Starr"
Alter Ego: Goddess Heather
Known Relatives: Zor-L and Allura (parents), Equinox (son)
Occupation: Owner of Goddess Heather Inc. (Software eMedia Firm)
Base of Operations: Brooklyn/Seattle
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Group Membership: Justice Society of America
Past Group Membership: Infinity, Inc.,
Sovereign Seven
First Appearance: (All-Star Comics #58, January–February 1976)

… Earth One and Earth Two

The former was inhabited by the company's present-day superheroes, while the latter was the abode of the 1940s characters. Power Girl was the first new ongoing character created as a resident of the world where, according to the company's back-story, the superhero proliferation first occurred.

Many characters had separate versions in each plane of existence. In fact, the whole idea of making two in the first place was to explain how the original Flash could be a mere comic book character from the point of view of the more recent one, while not precluding the two having adventures together. Power Girl was the Earth Two version of Supergirl. She first appeared in All Star Comics #58 (Jan-Feb 1976, which launched a continuation of the 1940s series of that name) as a member of The Super Squad, a newly-formed youth auxiliary of The Justice Society of America. Other charter members of the Squad were The Star-Spangled Kid (a '40s character, but youthened through time travel) and Robin, the now-grown kid sidekick of the Batman who operated in the '40s (postulated to exist so as to avoid credibility problems in regard to the age of the one active "today").

Like Supergirl, Power Girl was the daughter of Zor-El (tho spelled "Zor-L" in in her case) of the planet Krypton, whose brother, Jor-El (Jor-L), was the father of Superman. Like Supergirl, she survived the planet's explosion but arrived on Earth later and younger than Superman (in her case because her rocket took the long way, but was equipped with age-retarding devices). Like Supergirl, she was trained in the superheroing craft by her cousin, the Earth Two Superman. Like Supergirl, her Kryptonian name was Kara, but she took on an Earth-style name as a secret identity (Linda Lee Danvers for Super, Karen Starr for Power). And like Supergirl, she had all the wonderful abilities of Superman himself.

Power Girl, like The Super Squad itself, was created by the team responsible for that '70s Justice Society revival — writer Gerry Conway (Werewolf by Night, Ms. Marvel), penciller Rick Estrada (Freedom Fighters, Sgt. Rock) and inker Wallace Wood (EC Comics, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents). Wood's inking was very strong, to the point where he generally imposed his style on his pencillers. Since Wood's style included drawing extremely sexy women (e.g., Sally Forth), and since the superhero audience, then as well as now, was strongly skewed toward male adolescents, it's not surprising Power Girl was the most popular character in the group.

This incarnation of All Star Comics lasted only until #74 (Sept-Oct 1978), but by the time it was gone, Power Girl was being tried out for a series of her own. Showcase, the DC title with a long history of testing characters (such as Sea Devils and The Atom) before the publisher committed itself to a series, featured her in its 97th through 99th issues (March through May, 1978). Later that year, tho, DC's management decided it wasn't a good time to launch new titles (in fact, a lot of existing ones were axed), so she didn't move from there into her own comic. To keep her in the public eye, tho, DC featured her in Infinity Inc., a second-generation superhero team, which started in 1984.

Then came the annihilation of Earth Two. A decision was made that splitting the characters among various "Earths" was confusing to readers, especially younger ones, and that confusing the readers was having a negative impact on comic book sales. In Crisis on Infinite Earths, a 1985-86 crossover series/reboot involving most of DC's characters, the company arranged for a Cosmic Event to consolidate all of its parallel worlds into one. In many areas, this made things more confusing than ever. One of those areas was Power Girl, whose continued popularity dictated she not simply be left behind.

With only one world to fit everything into, and one Superman to be a relative/protegé of, there was no longer room for Power Girl to maintain her old back-story. It was retroactively decided she was a survivor (through time travel) of ancient Atlantis instead of the planet Krypton, and was the granddaughter of Arion, Lord of Atlantis, a minor character DC was running at the time.

Since then, they've put her in a four-issue mini-series, made her a member of a European offshoot of The Justice League of America, returned her to the Justice Society, and guest-starred her all over the place. They can't seem to be consistent about whether she's from Krypton or Atlantis, but that doesn't have any impact on her popularity — which ensures she'll continue to be seen frequently for a long time to come.

SG-1 EPISODE:
SABRINA SUPERGIRL
in
Reporting for Freedom

mod by Allen of Mikey F's work....

"Sabrok!!! You finished that story on the string of armed robberies yet?" a gruff voice yelled over the general noise of the busy newsroom. "Almost finished, give me a few more minutes, Chief" came the feminine reply.
Crack reporter platinum blonde Sabrina Sabrok glanced around , making sure no one was watching her intently, while gradually speeding up her typing.
Her hands began to fly over the keyboard at an almost eye-blurring speed. Instead of what should have taken half an hour, she was done in the space of a few seconds. Smiling, she sped-read her work and ran off a copy. She thought to herself as she hurried over to the editor's desk "Always handy to have super-powers when you've got a deadline".

She dropped the story onto the editor's desk, before being quickly snapped up by the newsroom chief. He glanced over the piece. "Still no leads over who's pulling these robberies?" Sabrina sighed "No luck. Whoever it is, they're good.
From what I hear, even Supergirl is having trouble finding these guys.". Sabrina was sure of that one, as she'd been patrolling night after night looking for these armed robbers. There was always something getting in the way, and the robbers worked so fast, by the time she had got there they were long gone.
Six robberies in two weeks, and not once had she made it. Not only were these guys getting away with a fortune, but they were harming her reputation as a heroine. The chief's voice brought her out from her own thoughts "Okay then, good work Sabrina. If you get any news before this gets sent up to copy, get it to me". Sabrina nodded "No problem, if I hear anything I'll let you...".
Her voice trailed off, as her keen super-hearing picked up a far-off cry for help. Quickly glancing in the direction of the cry, she switched to her x-ray vision, looking through the newsroom wall, down to street level. A woman was running from the Metropolis Central Bank, screaming for help. Sabrina looked deeper, looking inside the bank. Inside, she spotted four men threatening the customers. "This is it" she thought.
"This is a job for Sabrina Supergirl!"

"Sabrina, are you okay?" The chief dragged Sabrina out of her concentration, her vision returning to normal. "You looked a little out of it there" the chief told her. Sabrina assured the chief she was fine "Just a little light-headed, an aspirin will set me straight.". Sabrina quickly headed back towards her desk, as she made sure no one was paying attention to her.
When she was satisfied she wasn't being watched, she darted towards the bathroom. Her fingers began to play with the buttons of her blouse, in anticipation of ripping it open and revealing the dazzling costume hidden beneath. She began to lightly tug at her blouse as she...walked headlong into the locked door. Sabrina looked down confused, and saw what she in her pre-transformation state had failed to notice. A sign that said CLOSED TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE WINDOW
Frustrated, Sabrina checked nothing was knocked out of place by the collision, before returning to her desk. Once again using her x-ray vision, she could see that the robbers had forced their way down to the vault. She didn't have much time.
Frantically she looked around for an answer. Somewhere she could change without being noticed. Her eyes fell on the open window on the opposite side of the room. Sabrina thought quickly, and then picked up a pen, and dropped it onto the floor.
"Whoops" Sabrina said, before diving underneath her desk, hands ripping at her blouse in anticipation. With her desk against the newsroom wall, no one will see her changing into the uniform of the Maid of Might. A quick super-speed flight out of the newsroom, and no one would be any the wiser!!

What could possibly go wrong? She grabbed the two sides of her blouse, and ripping it open, revealed the blue leotard and stylised S shield. Removing her drab gray skirt, she revealed her costume's red skirt.
She shrugged her blouse off her shoulders, her cape becoming visible underneath. Taking off her shoes and socks, she replaced them with her signature red boots, completing her outfit. She began to pull off her brown wig to reveal her blonde tresses and complete the transformation from hot-shot reporter to superheroine.
"Sabrina, are you okay?"
The chief said from in front of Sabrina's desk. "I saw you down on the floor and though you might have fainted" Behind the desk, Sabrina thought quickly. "What am I going to do? If he comes around the desk, my secret will be exposed!!" Spying the pen that she had dropped on the floor, she came up with an idea. Picking it up, she spun a story. "It's okay, I just dropped my pen on the floor.
She poked her head up over the edge of the desk, still wearing her wig. "Are you sure you're okay? replied the chief. "Yeah, yeah, no problem. I took an aspirin, and I'm feeling a lot better. Just getting my pen, that's all." Sabrina said, with more than a note of frustration in her voice. She needed to get out of here and stop that robbery.
The chief smiled and said "Okay then" before turning and walking off. Sabrina sighed a huge sigh of relief before dropping out of view again. One quick tug, and her wig was removed. Before she had let her blonde locks fall down about her shoulders, she took off at incredible speed, out of the open window.
Outside, she stretched out into her flying stance, arms out in front of her and sped off.

At the Metropolis Central Bank, four masked men ran outside. "Oh well, looks like Supergirl couldn't be bothered again this time. That's seven out of seven!" one of them shouted. Throwing their haul into the back, the four men piled into a waiting car, and sped off....for all of five feet. The tyres squealed as the car strained to find some sort of traction. "What the hell is going on?" shouted one of the masked men.
"We're not moving, that's what" the driver shouted back. The four men argued between each other, until a female voice cut through the noise. "Excuse me, gentleman, but you have something I want". With trepidation, the four men looked back to see none other than Supergirl lifting the back of the car off the ground. Grabbing their weapons the four men jumped out of the car, aiming their guns at the superheroine.
"Oh come on now, aren't you forgetting who I am?" Supergirl laughed, taking up her trademark power stance. "Let her have it" one of the men said. At once, they all began unloading their machine gun clips at the Maid of Might. One by one the bullets all deflected off the body of the unmoving heroine. Sabrina almost felt sorry for them, resorting to such futile attempts to attack her. One by one, the clips emptied. "Now are you going to give up?", she asked.
The four men looked at each other, dropped their weapons, and ran. Supergirl sighed, and moved at superspeed. In the space of three seconds, she rounded up the robbers. Without slowing down, she spied some rope in an alleyway. Flying over to pick it up, she returned and tied up the criminals. As she finished her crash course in knot-tying, a police car pulled up, and two police jumped out. "Officers, take these four away." Supergirl ordered.
"Thanks, Supergirl.
We should have known you'd get these guys eventually." replied one of the police officers. Supergirl smiled, before gracefully taking off. With a wave, she stretched her arms out and flew away at high speed.

Seeing a back window, Supergirl sped up and flew through it at eye-blurring speed. Diving behind the desk of Sabrina Sabrok, Supergirl quickly replaced the clothes of the reporter on top of the dazzling costume of her superheroine persona. Making sure her brown wig was on securely, she sat back up at her desk. No one took a second look, no one questioned where she had been just then. No one asked her why her clothes had been sitting in a pile on the floor under her desk.
She waited a few minutes, and then picked up her phone. She started writing down what had happened, as if she was being told over the phone, not from her own memory. She put down the phone and ran to the chief's office. "Chief, she got them. I just got a call from my source at the police, they said that Supergirl just caught the armed robbers!! Looks like I'm going to have to rewrite that article." Sabrina exclaimed. "Do you want me to wait until we've got some more details, or just write an article of what I've got?".
The Chief smiled "Just write it now, shouldn't take you long.". Sabrina smiled and turned to leave. "Oh Sabrina, one other thing," The chief continued. "I always knew you'd turn out to be a super reporter. Next time, make sure your wig's on straight when you're trying to get me to go away." A shell-shocked Sabrina stared at her boss, who had just figured out her secret identity. "Oh don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Always good to have someone who can make the news in this line of work" the chief said with a smile.
