Dear  Readers,

 

In times of great uncertainity and great darkness,  a unsuspecting few will  be callled  into  the struggle of good vs evil.  An evil that at the time it  occurs will  be mistaken for good while good can will e mistaken for evil.  And such will be the story of  unwitting and brutual She-Hulk  as she rushes head long into a collision  with  the cold hearted creation Stone Crusher ( aka Joker's stone cold  weapon of destrucion).And now without further to do a profile of Stone crusher aka Jennifer Walters....

She-Hulk is Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters. After Bruce gives her a blood transfusion Jen gains the Hulk's ability to grow and strengthen when under emotional stress.  In Savage She-Hulk, Jen would transform from her normal citizen and femmale into the  overpowering She-Hulk!

Beginning in Savage and continuing in the next run of the story, Sensational She-Hulk, with art from the legendary John Byrne, the She-Hulk transformation ended and she remained permanently "shulkified". Still, even though she no longer changed back to normal human form,

She-Hulk still retained the ability to get stronger, but it had to be triggered through an outside source.

She-Hulk is known for being the last character created by Marvel legend, Stan Lee, who with John Bescuma, created this character mainly to capitalize upon the popularity of the Incredible Hulk. Stan Lee even wrote the original origin comic "Savage She-Hulk #1", but that turned out to be the only one he would ever write.

She Hulk has been a member of a variety of teams throughout her comic career. These teams range from the Fantastic Four to the Avengers and she has done quite well in her solo career as well. Recently, she starred with the Thing in a comic called "The Long Night".

While there have been rumors of a movie, Marvel even had publicity posters made, it never seems to come to fruition though there is some hope that she might be in the new Hulk movie coming out soon. I don't think that is going to happen though. She has made some appearances in the Hulk animated series though so there is at least some interest in her character especially since she does very well in her numerous guest appearances and crossovers.

A bit of trivia, until just last month, She-Hulk was the longest running solo female comic book in the industry. It was just surpassed by Spidergirl! She-Hulk will be making a special appearance in the next issue of Spidergirl as a kind of nod to the passing of the mantel.

The transformation into She-Hulk is always painful for Jen. But in time she comes to relish the power it brings--just like her cousin does.
