atwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle, is the world's greatest cat-burglar and tease. She prowled the streets of Gotham City in search of booty until her recent move to LA following the Dark Knight. Also called the Princess of Plunder, the Feline Felon, and the Mistress of Malevolence, this whip-wielding male fantasy has been keeping Batman hot and bothered for over fifty years now. In her ever-changing but always form-fitting catsuit,
Catwoman has managed to hold her own in a universe populated by socialpaths and megalomaniacs such as the Joker.

Cat of Nine

She gets her name not only because of her profession, but also to her cat-like qualities. Cunning, stealthy, and mysterious, she is neither super-hero nor arch-villain. Catwoman can stand her ground in a fight with any man, including Batman, and is sometimes the sex kitten and sometimes the steely avenger, but most of the time just a thief, trying to avoid the spotlight and innocent bystanders. Unlike most of Batman's foes, Catwoman is not out for mass destruction or world domination. (ed: Whaaaat? ;-) )

She's in it for the money. She is in for the heat of the momment. She has even been known to do the occasional good deed. She even a member of PeTA. When she is surrounded by bad, she is oh so good. "For years, comic fans have drooled over the feral, feline thief... If we're so enamored of a picture on paper, or mesmerized by the beautiful actresses...who don the claws, imagine how it must be for the Dark Knight. Who will ever really understand the chemistry that exists between these two? The second Batman film suggests that they are attracted by shared pain, and that may be the best way to explain it. The differences between Batman and Catwoman may simply be gender and on which side of the law they reside.

She questions her reasons constantly, but still granted refuge to a young girl named Arizona. She dislikes killing, and will never place innocents at risk. She finds Batman ...making her reconsider her lifestyle every time she encounters him. It's Catwoman's nature to rebel against authority, to cut away anything she thinks is restraining her. She needs action and danger for no other reason than to remind her she's alive... Of course, that's all speculation and conjecture.

The truth is, right now someone is losing a fortune in precious jewels. The Dark Knight Detective is straining to ignore the desire within him and a stirring in his heart with a weak reminder that she is breaking the law. Calicos, tabbies, and siamese are prowling the streets around the lithe young woman with the whip. And Catwoman is looking up with a smile to make men crumble, enjoying every minute of it."

The Feline Fatale was chosen as one of the 25 best comic book villains, the only woman to make the cut.

Even after 50 years, her appeal is undiminished. New generations of comic fans fall under her spell, fantasizing about midnight rendezvous and close encounters of the feline kind. In fact, Wizard magazine has named Catwoman the sexiest woman in comics, beating out such beauties as Vampirella, Dawn, Storm, and Witchblade.

To quote the Wizard Magazine:

"...skintight spandex and a whip. While we could probably just leave it at that, there is just so much to say about the perfect form that is Selina Kyle. The laughing green eyes, hair so midnight-black you could lose yourself in it, the crooked smile that lets you know she's not a "nice" girl...all of this combines with her cat-like sensuality and voluptuous figure to make her comic's #1 sex symbol.

When Catwoman is surrounded by Batman, its meow-w time baby! Catwoman and Batman have developed a grudging respect for each other over the years, and sometimes leads to even more. The sexual tension when they are together is almost palpable.

That they are made for each other is obvious to everyone but them....
